18th September: Domestic Trophy Draws

The draws for the domestic trophies will be made by the Executive Committee at the end of this month and posted on the Trophy Standings page. As explained on that page the draw for each of the competitions are seeded. The seedings are compiled as follows: -

Kings Arms Rovers are automatically seeded number 1 for both competitions as the holders of both trophies and Harbour AFC are automatically seeded number 2 for both competetion as league champions from last season.

The other seedings will be determined by the league points achieved divided by the number of games played at the time of the draw. To ensure fairness of the seedings this will give each club an average of points gained per game. Should two or more have the same average of points, goal difference will be determined using the same formula. Should two clubs or more clubs still be tied, goals scored will be determined using the same formula.

15th August: Primary Rule - Ungentlemanly Conduct

All clubs are reminded of the following primary rule that was introduced into our constitution last season and will be stringently enforced every season. The rule is as follows: -

Rule 4) The Association reserves the right to protect itself by refusing any club,
official or player to participate within the Association at any time, if the
Association deems it not to be in the best interests of the Association.

Basically, any club, official or player can be removed from the Association with immediate effect without consultation with the Scottish Amateur F.A.
