Affiliated to the Scottish Amateur Football Association, our league was
founded in 2000 by our current Secretary from the remnants of a declining Association (Irvine & Garnock District League)
which only had 7 remaining member clubs and no sponsorship.
The rapid rise and success of the Association is now recognised as one of the leading
Sunday amateur set up's in Scotland. This season, we have over 350 players and officials representing 13
member clubs spread over several west coast towns within the Ayrshire area. Our Association is grateful for the
continued support and sponsorship from Hawkwind Sports, The Good Vending Company, and GTNC Ltd. Our member
clubs compete in one division playing each other twice. After one round of fixtures, a mini league from
the bottom six after one rounjd of fixtures will contest for consolation cup.There are also three domestic
cup competitions and the Foster's Scottish Sunday Trophy.
