Welcome to the Official Website of the
West Ayrshire Sunday Amateur Football Association

Affiliated to the Scottish Amateur Football Association, our league was founded in 2000 by our current Secretary from the remnants of a declining Association (Irvine & Garnock District League) which only had 7 remaining member clubs and no sponsorship.

The rapid rise and success of the Association is now recognised as one of the leading Sunday amateur set up's in Scotland. This season, we have over 350 players and officials representing 16 member clubs spread over several west coast towns within the Ayrshire area. Our Association is grateful for the continued support and sponsorship from Hawkwind Sports, Phoenix Cars Motor Group, Kings Arms Hotel, and GTNC Ltd. Our member clubs compete in one division which will split into two divisions after one round of fixtures, three domestic cup competitions and the newly sponsored Foster's Scottish Sunday Trophy.
